Xianda College of Economics and Humanities Shanghai International Studies University (上海外国语大学贤达经济人文学院, website) is the first batch of independent full-time undergraduate colleges in Shanghai approved by the Ministry of Education in 2004. It is jointly organized by Shanghai Foreign Studies University and Shanghai Xianda Investment Co., Ltd. The school currently has two campuses, Hongkou and Chongming. The Hongkou campus is located in the northeast of the city and is adjacent to Shanghai Foreign Studies University. The Chongming campus is located in Chenjia Town, Chongming District.

Xianda College of Economics and Humanities Shanghai International Studies University relies on the strong faculty of Shanghai Foreign Studies University and the advantages of foreign language teaching and research to build a discipline major focusing on language and economic disciplines and coordinated development of other disciplines (professional + English) system. Currently, there are 23 undergraduate majors covering 6 major categories including literature, law, economics, management, education and arts. There are currently more than 7,000 full-time undergraduate students.
