Nanjing Institute of Visual Arts, referred to as NIVA, was formerly known as the Southern College of Photography of Nanjing Forestry University.
Founded in 2000, the college is a full-time comprehensive new art university approved by the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. The college is located in Konggang New Town, Lishui District, Nanjing, covering an area of 800 acres. The college has four teaching units: the media department, the design department, the humanities and arts department, and the international college.
