Guangzhou College of Technology and Business (广州工商学院, website) is a private full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. It was established in 1995. In 2004, it was independently established as Guangzhou Vocational and Technical College of Industry and Commerce. In May 2014, it was upgraded to undergraduate and changed to current name. In 2018, he was approved as a bachelor’s degree by a bachelor’s degree.

The college has two campuses, Guangzhou Huadu and Foshan Sanshui. Located in the center of Dawan District, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, it enjoys an advantageous geographical location, complete teaching facilities and abundant resources for running schools. The total area of the campus is 1390.07 mu, and the building area is 546137.86 square meters. There are 13 intra-school practice teaching bases, nearly 50,000 square meters of experimental training teaching rooms, 2.22 million volumes of library paper collections, and standard track and field venues. Sports venues such as gymnasiums, various types of courses, and student activity centers.

The college has 9 departments, 3 departments and 2 hospitals, and 30 enrollment majors, including 24 undergraduate majors and 6 specialties, covering 5 disciplines of management, economics, engineering, literature and art, including international trade and logistics. Management is a provincial key discipline, accounting and marketing are key professional majors in higher vocational education in Guangdong Province. The college actively expands the field of international cooperation in running schools. In September 2016, the School of International Education of GZCTB was established. To cultivate the construction of Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao and Dawan District and the “One Belt, One Road” international logistics channel, the development of new high-end intelligent cold chain talents, and logistics in Guangdong Province Industry associations and Bayer Cold Chain Company have established the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Dawan District Smart Cold Chain Industry College jointly established by schools, associations and enterprises.

The college recruits students from 18 provinces and cities nationwide. There are 23,990 full-time students, including 18,009 undergraduates and 5,981 undergraduates. Since then, the employment rate of graduates has exceeded 98% for five consecutive years.

The faculty of the college has a reasonable structure and excellent quality. There are 1036 full-time teachers, including 288 with senior professional titles, 689 doctoral and master’s degree teachers, and 2 experts enjoying special allowances from the State Council.

The college adheres to the educational philosophy of “taking morality as a line and learning by virtue” proposed by the dean of the school, and vigorously promotes the “five advances” of “entering the classroom, entering the library, entering the experimental training room, entering the stadium, and entering the society”. In recent years, the teachers and students have won 1008 awards at or above the municipal level, including 18 national competition organization projects, 42 national gold medals or first prizes, and 95 provincial first prizes such as the “Challenge Cup” entrepreneurial competition.
