Ankang Vocational and Technical College (安康职业技术学院, website) is a full-time public higher vocational college hosted by the Ankang Municipal People’s Government and approved by the provincial government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is located in the national high-tech zone of Ankang. The college was formed in 2004 by the merger of Ankang Normal School, Ankang Health School, and Ankang No. 2 Normal School. In 2010, the college planned a high starting point and set up a new campus in the high-tech zone with a planned investment of 750 million yuan and a total investment of 800 million yuan. It was basically completed in August 2016 and moved in as a whole.
