Introduction to Anhui Tourism College
Anhui Tourism College (安徽旅游职业学院) is the only tourism college in Anhui Province established by the Ministry of Education and approved by the Anhui Provincial People’s Government. The college is located in Balihe National AAAAA Grade Scenic Area.
Anhui Tourism College occupies a total area of 500 acres, and has teaching, office, training, teacher and student apartments, restaurants, and bathrooms. The campus is lined with green trees and an elegant environment. There is a landscape in the garden, and there is a garden in the landscape. Opposite the campus is the “five halls and one center”, which is the focus of the county government, and is an ideal place for studying. The campus basketball court, track and field stadium, table tennis room, cultural promenade and other cultural and sports facilities are full of functions, colorful cultural activities, and a strong cultural atmosphere, which is conducive to students’ knowledge, fitness, and emotional cultivation.
Anhui Tourism College has vigorously carried out teaching reforms, emphasizing both theory and practice, alternating work and study, implementing professional and industry docking, curriculum content and vocational standards, teaching process and job requirements, and academic credentials and professional qualifications. The college has established long-term, comprehensive and multi-level cooperative relations with nearly a hundred tourism agencies, four-star, five-star hotels and many enterprises and institutions in and outside the province. The college always adheres to the goal of “moral education first, educating people first, and employment as the goal”, and actively builds a platform for student employment and entrepreneurship. The employment rate of graduates is stable at more than 95%.
Anhui Tourism College offers four majors: tourism, foreign language, finance, and arts. There are 14 majors in tourism management, hotel management, flight attendant, high-speed rail attendant, tour guide, tourist English, tourist Japanese, tourist handicraft design and production, investment and wealth management. Leaders in all disciplines have professional titles of associate professors or above, forming teaching teams with teaching and research capabilities, focusing on creating a “dual-faculty” teacher team with a reasonable cultural level, specialty, and age structure.
Since Anhui Tourism College started school, the pass rate of tourist guide certificate, English AB application ability certificate, English level 4 and 6 and accounting certificate pass rate have achieved the best results in the province’s higher vocational colleges in national and provincial unified examinations. College teaching conditions are good, books, materials, computers, multimedia classrooms, voice rooms, training rooms, wireless transmission equipment are complete, can guarantee the needs of teaching. The college has been approved as a computer level test, college English test level 4 and 6 test sites. Teachers and students of the college live in standardized apartments, and life is very convenient. The college has a good relationship with the local government, and the school has a close relationship with the local government. It has established a close cooperative relationship with the local public security department. The campus implements closed management and is equipped with an electronic monitoring system to ensure the safety of teachers and students.
