Introduction to Wahaha Bilingual School Hangzhou
In 2014, Wahaha Bilingual School Hangzhou or Wahaha International School (杭州娃哈哈双语学校 WBS, website) was established as a nine-year school with approval from the Education Bureau of Zhejiang Province. From its inception, we have been committed to producing the next generation of ambassadors for China, global citizens who not only have a deep knowledge and understanding of Chinese culture and values but are also able to engage with the international community, make the distinct Chinese voice heard, and facilitate cultural and intellectual dialog.
With the nine-year national curriculum as our foundation, Wahaha Bilingual School integrates Chinese traditional culture, while introducing advanced internationalized education and teaching concepts and learning resources. We cultivate each student’s potential and independent learning skills to prepare them for their role as future leaders.
Situated just one block away from the picturesque River, our 19,550 square meter campus boasts a spacious atrium, 30 classrooms, a science lab, library, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) room, and a multi-purpose sports field. In addition, we also have two art studios, two theaters, a music room with six individual practice rooms, choir room, dance studio and a gymnasium. Furthermore, we have installed in the playground a Corocord Spacenet, imported from Denmark, which is not only beneficial in developing students’ large muscles, spatial awareness, and eye-hand coordination, but also their imaginations. These high quality facilities are designed to ensure the happy and efficient learning of our students.
