Shanghai Thomas School (上海托马斯实验学校, website) brings an innovative and groundbreaking concept to China’s basic education. She fully prepares students for entry into China and world-class universities. Based on the curriculum elements of strengthening modernization, technology and internationalization, Shanghai Thomas Experimental School provides Chinese students with a new cutting-edge education centered on STEM.
The school is one of four Thomas schools located in major cities in China (Shanghai, Hefei, Jinan, and Nanjing). Thomas Experimental School introduced the STEM curriculum system and innovative talent training methods of Thomas Jefferson High School of Science and Technology, which has been ranked number one in the United States for many years. The school is located in Taopu Zhichuang City, Putuo District, Shanghai. It is built to learn, which is reflected in the interaction of innovation and art. It combines traditional Chinese education with the curriculum concepts recognized by world-class universities, including critical thinking, problem-based learning, and academics.
