The Middle School Attached To Northwestern Polytechnical University (西北工业大学附属中学, website) is a key middle school in Shaanxi Province and a demonstration high school in Shaanxi Province.

The school was officially established in 1971; in 1986, the school was promoted to “Shaanxi Provincial Key Middle School”; in 2009, the school was first promoted to “Shaanxi Provincial Demonstration High School”. In 2012, the school was evaluated by the Xi’an Education Bureau and was awarded “Advanced Unit of Xi’an Sports Traditional Project School”.

As of July 2015, the new campus of the school covers an area of 60 acres, a construction area of 53,000 square meters, the old campus covers an area of 34083 square meters, and a construction area of 30437 square meters; there are 235 faculty members, including 12 excellent teachers and special grade teachers. 5 people; 20 high school classes, 24 junior high school classes, more than 2,640 students (more than 1,200 high school students, more than 1,440 junior high school students).
