Introduction to Shimen Middle School

Shimen Middle School (石门中学, website) is abbreviated as “Shizhong”. It was founded in 1932 and is located on the bank of the Pearl River. It is known as the “garden school” and the “cradle of talents”.

The school is a public high school run by the Foshan Education Bureau and a key middle school in Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province.

Shimen Middle School, Shimen Senior Middle School, Shimen Experimental School, Shimen Experimental Middle School, and Shimen Experimental Primary School together form the Shimen Education Group.

As of 2018, Shimen Middle School covers an area of 96563.8 square meters, with a green coverage rate of 98.57% and a construction area of 83818.7 square meters. There are 66 high school classes, and the average class size is no more than 50.
