Introduction to Nanchang No.5 High School
Nanchang No. 5 High School (南昌五中, website) has won wide attention and unanimous praise from all walks of life with its beautiful campus, first-class facilities, strong teachers, high-quality management and years of outstanding achievements. The school has been rated as “Nanchang Private Education Advanced Unit”, “Nanchang City Moral Education Demonstration School”, “Nanchang Famous School”, and “Nanchang City Cultural Charm Campus” for ten consecutive years. The title, once again in 2017, won the “Nanchang Citizen-run school outstanding level of first-class school.”
The International Department of Nanchang No. 5 Middle School was formally established in 2011. It is the first batch of AP course centers officially authorized by the College Board in Jiangxi Province, authorization code: 694649.
The courses of the International Department fully combine the advantages of domestic and foreign education, and set up a fully English AP international course widely recognized by world-renowned schools, SAT courses that have an important impact on admission applications of prestigious schools, English language courses (to help students reach the top 100 universities in the world. Language requirements) and Chinese college entrance examination courses. In response to the admission standards of foreign famous schools, various competitions, associations, community services and other activities have been opened. The frequent foreign exchange activities of the International Department and various types of extracurricular themed activities organized by the organization are of great significance for applying for admission to a world-class university.
All courses in the International Department are taught by Chinese and foreign teachers in small classes with a teacher-student ratio of 1:5. 90% of the faculty members have postgraduate qualifications, 70% have experience in teaching or studying abroad, and 100% have more than five years of teaching experience. All foreign teachers have TESOL/TEFL teacher qualifications and many years of experience in teaching AP international courses.
