Linchuan No.1 Middle School (临川一中, website) is the first batch of outstanding key middle schools in Jiangxi Province.
The school was founded in 1955. As of 2014, the school has 125 classes, 9,800 students, more than 580 in-service teachers, including 7 special-grade teachers and 1 subsidy from the State Council. Since the resumption of the college entrance examination, more than 21,600 people have been sent to colleges and universities, including more than 140 people from Tsinghua University and Beijing University. The school has 125 teaching classes and 9800 students.
