Introduction to High School Affiliated To Beijing Normal University
The High School Affiliated To Beijing Normal University (北师大附中, website) is the first batch of key municipal middle schools in Beijing and the first model high schools in Beijing.
The predecessor of the school was Wucheng School established in 1901. It is the earliest public middle school established in China and one of the most famous middle schools in China. It enjoys a high reputation both at home and abroad.
The school covers an area of 43,877 square meters, with a total construction area of 48,078 square meters. As of 2014, the school has a total of 2453 students; 107 foreign students and 245 active teachers and staff.
In May 2020, the school was included in the list of Beijing primary and middle school science and technology education demonstration schools.
