High School Affiliated to Anhui Normal University (安徽师范大学附属中学, website) is the only provincial model high school directly under the Provincial Department of Education. It is one of the key provincial middle schools and six provincial science experimental classes.
The school was founded in 1903. In 1978, the school was approved by the Anhui Provincial Department of Education as a provincial key high school; in 2000, the school was rated as a provincial demonstration high school.
The school covers an area of 6.34 hectares, with a construction area of more than 50,000 square meters. It has six major centers-discipline class center, comprehensive practice center, scientific experiment center, library center, sports activity center, student life center and modern TV studio. . The school currently has 196 faculty members, including 168 teachers. The school currently has 46 classes in high schools and 2,431 students.
