Hangzhou No.2 High School (浙江省杭州第二中学, website) has a long history. In 1899, the school was founded by American Hui Gande, which opened the prelude of the school.

After 120 years of development, the school has become a top-notch, first-class and internationally renowned Chinese school. The school is the “first batch of key middle schools” and the first batch of “first-level key middle schools” in Zhejiang Province. In the ranking of China’s high schools ranked by the China Research Center in Washington, USA in 2013, the school ranked 5th nationwide.

Hangzhou No.2 High School established the Olympic College and the Future Science and Innovation College.
