Introduction to Fangcaodi International School
Fangcaodi International School (芳草地国际学校, website) was founded in 1956 as a primary school for children of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 1973, the school began to accept children and foreign nationals from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enrolled on a large scale.
The school is known as “Little United Nations” and “Little Window of the World”. The school’s graduation certificate is recognized worldwide.
The school is divided into the Chinese Department and the International Department. The Chinese Department is a compulsory education school run by the government and only accepts Chinese nationality students; the International Department only recruits foreign nationality and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwanese students.
