Introduction to Deyang Foreign Languages School
Founded in 2000, Deyang Foreign Languages School (德阳外国语学校, website) is a full-time, boarding, and new system school covering kindergartens, elementary schools, junior high schools, and high schools with the approval of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education and directly under the Deyang Education Bureau. The campus covers more than 360 acres. There are nearly 7,000 teachers and students.
The school currently has 7 special-grade teachers, 80 middle school senior teachers, 210 national, provincial and municipal discipline leaders, backbone teachers, excellent class teachers and teachers of moral standards. In recent years, teachers have received more than 300 gold and first and second prizes in various skill competitions and high-quality class competitions at all levels.
The school has won the first prize for the teaching quality of the general high school in Deyang City for fifteen consecutive years. The undergraduate and recurring rates of college entrance examinations rank first in the city and rank in the forefront of the province. In recent years, German and foreign students have won the first place in the Deyang City College Entrance Examination and Science, and more than 1,000 students have been admitted to top domestic schools such as Tsinghua, Peking University and Fudan.
