Introduction to Dalian No.24 High School

Dalian No.24 High School (大连市第二十四中学, website) is a key middle school in Liaoning Province and a demonstration high school in Liaoning Province.

Dalian No. 24 Middle School was developed from the Yucai School that cultivated the children of martyrs and the descendants of cadres in the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. In 1949, Dalian Yucai Middle School officially opened. In 1951, the Fourth Junior High School of Dalian was established. In 1956, Qiu Yucai School merged with Dalian Fourth Junior High School, and the school name was Dalian Fourth Junior High School. In 1958, it was renamed Dalian No. 24 Middle School. In 1960, it was renamed Dalian No. 24 Middle School.

According to the school’s official website in October 2015, the school covers an area of 29,440 square meters, with a construction area of 28,675.39 square meters and a green area of 9,715 square meters. A total of 34 teaching classes, more than 1,500 students, 123 faculty and staff, including more than 80 senior teachers and senior teachers, 19 provincial and municipal backbone teachers, 10 provincial and municipal labor model, 13 national gold coaches, There are 36 postgraduates and 11 national and provincial scientific research projects.
