Chongqing No.1 International Studies School (重庆第一双语学校) is a bilingual school created by Chongqing No. 1 Middle School and Chongqing No. 1 International Education Investment Co., Ltd. based on the relevant minutes and memorandums of the municipal government, the Municipal Education Commission and the Northern New District. The school is a full-time boarding school that integrates junior high school, high school education and international high school education. The National Superintendent, the 10th and 11th NPC deputies, and former principal of Chongqing No. 1 Middle School Lu Shankun are principals of Chongqing No.1 Bilingual School.

Chongqing is the first international high school directly affiliated to a key middle school established in Chongqing. The school has selected outstanding backbone teachers from Chongqing No. 1 Middle School as the class teacher. Among them, there are 2 special-grade teachers, 1 full professor-level researcher, 1 Chongqing famous teacher, and 5 senior teachers. There are 5 middle-level teachers, 15 of whom have undertaken national and provincial teaching and research projects. Among them, 6 young and middle-aged teachers have won awards in the city-level and school-level quality assessments. Foreign teachers have master’s degree or above in world-renowned schools, more than 5 years of overseas teaching experience and qualifications to teach related courses, and hold foreign education expert qualification certificates and filed with Chongqing Foreign Experts Bureau.
