Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine (NJUCM, website) is a university included in the national “Double First-Class University Plan” and the Jiangsu High-Level Construction University Plan, a university jointly constructed by the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the People’s Republic of China. Established in 1954, NJUCM is one of the earliest established universities of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. Over the last 64 years, NJUCM has trained the first wave of teachers, created the first edition of textbooks and teaching syllabus, produced the earliest academicians in TCM field, made fundamental contribution the establishment and promotion of higher education mode for P. R. China, therefore has been renowned as “the cradle of China’s higher education in Chinese Medicine”.
Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine ESL Jobs Description
English Teacher
- Monday to Friday, no more than 14 classes per week, no office hours
- Teach public English courses to postgraduate students
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Native Speakers ONLY
- Age from 25- 60 years old
- Two years of teaching experience, candidates with IELTS teaching experience preferred
Salary and Benefits
- Salary of 9,600 RMB per month
- 4,000 housing allowance per month (the university will assist with apartment hunting)
- Paid winter vacation for 1 month; unpaid summer vacation for 2 months
- 10,000 RMB flight allowance upon contract completion
