Guangdong Institute of Science and Technology is a full-time public institution of higher learning approved by the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government in 1985 and filed by the Ministry of Education. In December 2008, the college passed the “Excellent” achievement evaluation through the Ministry of Education’s higher vocational training. In 2010, it was awarded the honorary title of “Advanced Collective of Vocational and Technical Education in Guangdong Province” by the Guangdong Provincial Government. In 2010, it was identified by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance as the national model backbone higher vocational college project construction unit. In March 2016, it passed the acceptance inspection with “good” results and became a national model backbone vocational college. In July 2016, it was identified by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology as the provincial “Internet +” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Model School. In November 2016, it was identified as the first-class higher vocational college project construction unit by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education. In July 2019, it was identified by the Ministry of Education as “National Quality Specialized Higher Vocational College”. 2016, 2017, and 2018 have been selected into the top 50 service providers of higher vocational colleges nationwide for three consecutive years. In 2018, he was selected as one of the top 50 teaching resources in higher vocational colleges nationwide. In 2019, he was selected as one of the top 50 students in higher vocational colleges in the country. Foreign Teacher Recruitment Notice
Guangdong Polytechnic of Science and Technology is now inviting applications for the international teacher position. International teachers will teach courses such as Oral English, English Writing, English Culture & Literature, and etc. For the coming school year,1 English teacher is needed in the Applied Foreign Languages School.
Requirements
1. Native speaker.
2. Bachelor degree and above.
3. At least two-year teaching experience.
Salary and Allowances
The annual income including salary and allowances is around RMB13, 000 Yuan *10 months+2000RMB*2 months
Other Allowances. Traveling allowance: RMB 8000 is granted every year.
(1) International teacher is to receive 800 yuan RMB (including income tax) per month for five months in the following semester within the Employment Period if he/she ranks top 10 among the School of Applied Foreign Languages according to the statistics of the teaching assessment from the Dean’s Office during the current semester.
(2) 500 yuan RMB (including income tax) per month for five months in the following semester within the Employment Period if international teacher ranks 11th-20th among the School of Foreign Languages according to the statistics of the teaching assessment from the Dean’s Office during the current semester.
The College buys personal accident insurance for each foreign teacher.80% of cost of medical care for common illness treatment and medicine will be provided in campus clinic.
Housing
An apartment on the campus with a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room and a bedroom is provided, equipped with basic furniture and appliances including bed, desk, hot water heater, washing machine, induction cooker, air conditioner and internet for every international teacher.
Rest and Holidays
An international teacher is entitled to all Chinese public holidays and summer and winter vacations as scheduled by the College.
