Founded in 1983, Changsha University (CCSU, website) is an applied undergraduate planning university for the “13th Five-Year Plan” for the integration of production and education in the country. In 2017, it was approved as the construction unit of the master’s degree-granting unit of Hunan Province. In 2018, it was selected as the “double-class” high-level application characteristic college in Hunan Province. The project was awarded the title of “Civilized University of Hunan Province”. The school implements a system in which the provinces and municipalities jointly build and manage, and Changsha City is the main management system. There are 1,039 faculty members in our university. The university encourages scientific research and strives to improve the level of scientific research. Since 2010, the school has received 1,626 vertical scientific research projects at various levels, and the funding for vertical research projects is 94.421 million yuan. The university actively carries out open education and comprehensively carries out international cooperation and exchange activities. From the beginning of the school (1984) to 2017, it has established cooperation and exchanges with more than 50 universities, research institutes and international organizations in more than 20 countries and regions, and has signed inter-school exchanges with nearly 30 foreign universities. protocol. College of Foreign Languages
After more than 30 years of development, the College of Foreign Languages has developed into one of the largest faculties in Changsha College. There are 95 faculty members. Among them, there are 83 full-time teachers, 8 professors, 18 associate professors, 54 lecturers, 13 doctors (including 4 students), and 75 masters. The young and middle-aged teachers are basically master. There are 4 extra-curricular master tutors, 3 provincial young teaching experts, and 1 provincial excellent teacher. Perennial foreign teachers are employed as professional courses.

The College of Foreign Languages is a professional training for foreign language majors in our school and an education for college English. There are three foreign language majors in English, Japanese and translation.
