(Source: Zhejiang University of Water Resources and Electric Power) 今晨，太阳还在云层中若隐若现，各位英语爱好者就已经聚集在尚亭阁，和外教Melissa Davies共同探讨英语的乐趣。今天我们的英语角大家庭还增添了一位来自测市学院的同学，和大家一起学习英语表达自己的想法，还有两位刚入学的19级小学妹也略带羞涩地来围观我们的英语角活动。 这次英语角以“work and holiday”为主题，来自新西兰的外教和同学们一起讨论自己的工作与假期。一开始大家玩了一个考验默契度的眼色游戏，输了的同学还要用英语说自己的爱好。在活跃了气氛之后，大家就开始坐下讨论工作与假期的主题。 外教Melissa Davies特别认真的听同学们对假期生活的表述，对同学们丰富的假期生活感到惊叹，也时不时给予一些自己的看法。她给我们分享自己在国庆假期要去看国宝大熊猫还要感受中国的火锅。关于工作，她表示自己不仅仅是一名老师，同时也经营着一家公司，受到学校的邀请来水院教书，也提出欢迎大家向她询问关于商务的问题。 与此同时，在尚亭阁的另一侧我们还可以看到一群晨读学子的身影。他们拿出书本或阅读课文，或练习口语，朗朗的读书声飘荡在善湖上方。这些朝气蓬勃的国教学子是水院清晨最亮丽的风景线。
