Guangzhou Dublin International College of Life Sciences and Technology at South China Agricultural University (华南农业大学广州都柏林国际生命科学与技术学院, website) is an international Sino-foreign cooperative education institution jointly established by South China Agricultural University and University College Dublin (UCD).
The college was formally approved by the Ministry of Education in April 2020 (Ministry of Education License Number: MOE44IEA02DNR20202069N). The college is located in the South China Agricultural University. It currently has three undergraduate majors: biological sciences, food quality and safety, and horticulture. It will start enrolling students nationwide in 2020.
The college adopts dual registration, dual degree, “4+0” training model and an international teaching system. The college relies on the high-quality resources of the two schools, and senior professors from the two schools formulate training programs to jointly complete the talent training work. As soon as the student enrolls, he is registered as an official student of South China Agricultural University and University of Dublin at the same time. After completing 4 years of undergraduate studies at South China Agricultural University, students who meet the requirements for degree-granting from the two universities will simultaneously obtain an undergraduate diploma, a bachelor’s degree certificate from South China Agricultural University, and a corresponding bachelor’s degree certificate from the University of Dublin in Ireland.
