Giraffe English (长颈鹿英语, website) began to promote the franchise business in 1988 and established the children’s English franchise center. Currently, there are 658 branches all over the world, which is the largest English teaching chain system in Taiwan.

In 2007, Giraffe American introduced a set of important learning methods-‘Giraffe Fantastic Phonics’, based on the teaching philosophy of ‘let your children not only be excellent, but also be leaders’. The course introduces the concept of natural pronunciation, allowing children to read and spell when they see English in just six months. Since its establishment, Giraffe English has been actively involved in various charity activities and cross-industry alliances. The chairman, Mr. Wei Zhongxiang, was awarded the title of “Model of the 19th Entrepreneurship Year” in 1996 for his entrepreneurial spirit and business philosophy.
