Introduction to Tsinglan School
Tsinglan School (东莞市松山湖清澜山学校, website) was founded in August, 2017. It is an international school jointly organized by Huawei Investment Holdings Co., Ltd. and Tsinghua University Affiliated High School. The school opened in August 2017 and is currently divided into two campuses, a new campus and a kindergarten.
With the motto of “Try, and all is possible”, our school amis to inherit the century-old spirit of Tsinghua University and carry forward HUAWEI’s perseverance to create a new international education that suits China’s conditions. Tsinglan devotes to lighting up students’ dreams, preparing them for a better future and being responsible for their lifelong development.
The management team of the school comes from Tsinghua University High School. At the same time, Tsinglan recruits professional teachers from all over the world. Currently, there are 12% of our faculty members who have doctoral degrees, and over 90% of the faculty who have master’s or higher degrees.
The new campus covers an area of 83,000 square meters and a building area of 97,700 square meters. The kindergarten covers an area of 37,000 square meters and a building area of 13,000 square meters. It has middle school teaching building, primary school teaching building, kindergarten teaching building, theater, library, reception/technology/art/high research center, indoor sports center, administrative center, boarding center, dining area, outdoor stadium, tennis court, swimming pool, Fencing Hall, etc.
The school had 148 students in its first year. In 2020, we have reached 1,049 students, of which 50% are children of Huawei domestic and overseas employees, and the other 50% are from all over the world, including the Pearl River Delta, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai and Taiwan and so on.
