Introduction to Ningbo Jiangbei Foreign Language School of Art
Ningbo Jiangbei Foreign Language School of Art (宁波市江北区外国语艺术学校, website) started construction in 2013 and is located at No. 188 Xinghu Road, east of the central lake in the southeast corner of Wantou, to Hubin Road in the west, to the south section of Huandao Road in the south, and to the planned river in the northeast. Total area: 29,300 square meters, with a total construction area of 37,556 square meters, of which 22,718 square meters are above ground; 14,837 square meters are underground, floor area ratio is 0.84, and green area ratio is 35%. With a total investment of 299 million yuan, the project started construction on December 24, 2013, and passed the construction completion acceptance on January 8, 2016. In February 2016, it was awarded as Ningbo “Yongjiang Construction Cup Quality Project Award”, and in May 2016 as Zhejiang Province “Qianjiang Cup Quality Project Award”.
This is a six-year public elementary school, which is managed by the Shanghai World Foreign Language School entrusted by the Education Bureau of Jiangbei District, Ningbo City. The cooperative trusteeship will run from September 1, 2016 to August 31, 2022, for a total of 6 years. When the agreement expires, the three parties will negotiate again. The main service areas are Sanshui Bay, Jiangwan Garden, Yuhu Huayuan and Vientiane Huafu in the surrounding areas.
The design scale of the school is 6 grades of primary school, 6 classes for each grade, a total of 36 classes. The school’s goal is to cultivate “a young man who is well-educated, able to learn, has artistic accomplishment and an international perspective”.
At present, the school is entrusted by Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School to manage and run the school, integrates an excellent management team, implements educational resource sharing, synchronization of educational management methods, and an overall integrated operation mode. We look forward to turning the school into a quality education model school with an international perspective in Ningbo.
