As soon as we arrived in Yangzhou, we were immediately moved by the city’s peace, beautiful scenery and friendly local residents. We received a warm and generous reception. What moved us was not only the scenery, but also the attitude of Yangzhou residents. Everyone would be happy to share everything we found in Yangzhou. We hope to bring back many beautiful pictures, these pictures remind people of the Loire Valley, there are many flowers and beautiful scenery that we do not have.
CAROL TIMBLIN, American travel writer and editor
This is my second time to China and the first time to your beautiful city. I have never heard of your city before, and I am very surprised by what I have seen and heard. Like my colleagues, I like those parks very much. Thank you for bringing us here during this blooming season. I love your park. But I want to tell you that the most interesting ones are those little libraries. In the United States, many people do not pay attention to reading. I was very excited to see the bookstores in Yangzhou, to see people reading everywhere, and to see convenient libraries everywhere. I hope we can have such a library in the United States.
Véronique FAURE, France
Yangzhou is a city full of greenery and vitality, and we have seen many very beautiful gardens here. Yangzhou is also a city that perfectly blends modernity and tradition. We visited many gardens and temples, and tasted the city’s food. Yangzhou is also a very comfortable city. I think coming here for vacation is really a very satisfying and comfortable thing.
