Introduction to Hainan Overseas Chinese Middle School

Hainan Overseas Chinese Middle School (海南华侨中学, website), referred to as Qiaozhong, is located in Haikou City, Hainan Province. It is a first-class middle school in Hainan Province and a key middle school in Hainan Province.

Founded in 1938, the school is the earliest overseas Chinese middle school in China. In 1992, it was appraised as “China Famous School” by relevant state departments. The school site was originally in Baoshan, Yunnan, and then moved to Qingzhen, Guizhou, and then moved to Jiangjin, Sichuan. In 1946, it moved to the current site.

The school is divided into three campuses of high school, junior high school and beautiful sand. It covers an area of more than 450 acres. There are about 150 teaching classes, more than 7000 students, and nearly 600 full-time teachers.
