Introduction to Lanzhou No.1 High School
Lanzhou No.1 High School (兰州一中, website) is located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province. It is a provincial model high school. Its predecessor was “Gansu Wengao School” founded in 1902. It is the first secondary school in the history of Gansu Province, a key high school in Gansu Province, and a provincial model high school with a century of history.
In September 2007, the school was awarded the honorary title of “National Advanced Collective in the Educational System” by the Ministry of Education.
As of 2010, the school covers an area of more than 70 acres, with 45 teaching classes, more than 2,800 students, and 202 faculty members. Among them, there are 1 special-grade teacher, 1 famous teacher in Longyuan, 96 senior teachers, 70 first-grade teachers; 5 provincial-level subject leaders, 20 provincial-level key teachers, 19 provincial-level teaching experts, and 17 municipal-level key teachers people.
