Introduction to Guiyang No.1 High School
Guiyang No.1 High School (贵阳一中, website) is the first type of demonstration high school and extra-large boarding high school in Guizhou Province. Its predecessor was the Guizhou Tongsheng Public Middle School founded in 1906 by Guizhou famous places such as Shang Shu Li Duanfen and Ren Kecheng in the late Qing Dynasty. It has a history of more than 100 years.
The school is located in Guanshan Lake District of Guiyang City, adjacent to Jinhua Lake, leaning on Yucui Mountain, covering an area of 465 acres, with modern facilities such as science and technology museum, gymnasium, concert hall, library, wisdom classroom, and multi-disciplinary classroom.
The school currently has 408 faculty members, including 395 professional and technical personnel, 130 teachers with master’s degree; 15 senior teachers, 141 deputy senior teachers, 17 special grade teachers, 72 provincial and municipal backbone teachers, provincial level There are 8 famous teachers, 4 city management experts, 4 “provincial-level teacher studios” in Guizhou Province, 1 “provincial-level principals studio”, and “city-level principals, teachers, and class teacher studios” in Guiyang 16 In 2015, our school was established as the “Guizhou Provincial High School Teacher Development Center” by the Provincial Department of Education.
