Introduction to Changsha No. 1 High School
Changsha No.1 High School (湖南省长沙市第一中学, website) was founded in 1912. It was originally called Hunan Provincial Public High School (Tang), and it was the earliest provincial public middle school in Hunan Province. The school is currently the only provincial-level model ordinary senior middle school directly under the Hunan Provincial Department of Education, the National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Talent Training Experimental School, the National Modern Educational Technology Experimental School, the National Ordinary High School Characteristic Project Experimental School, the National Key Sports Training Talent Reserve School, National schools for mental health education in elementary and middle schools, national bases for international promotion of Chinese language, model schools for basic education curriculum reform in Hunan Province, and civilized model campus in Hunan Province.
