Introduction to Xiamen No.1 High School
Xiamen No.1 High School (厦门一中, website) is the first batch of key middle schools in Fujian Province. She was founded in 1906. Its predecessor was Yuping Academy established in the twenty-four years (1685) of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty. It was the earliest academy on Xiamen Island and the source of Xiamen’s cultural context. Xiamen No.1 Central South depends on the famous “Wanshi Botanical Garden” national-level scenic spot, accompanied by Xiamen University across the mountains.
Xiamen No.1 High School is a well-known middle school both at home and abroad. The campus covers an area of about 120,000 square meters.
