Introduction to Xi’an Gaoxin No.1 High School
Xi’an Gaoxin No.1 High School (西安高新第一中学, website) was founded in 1995. In 2009, the school was approved as the first demonstration high school in Shaanxi Province.
The school uses international awareness and vision to grasp and develop education. The school has established sister school relationships with 9 schools in 4 countries. In the course of international vision, there are more than 300 students abroad for six months of exchange study or Conduct short-term social practice activities.
In the 24 years since the establishment of the school, with the unremitting efforts of all teachers and students, Xi’an Gaoxin No.1 High School has formed a school culture with its own characteristics. The school has trained 15 college entrance examinations in Shaanxi Province, ranking first in Shaanxi Province; the total number ranks first in Shaanxi Province; in the past 10 years, the school has won 35 gold medals in the national five university science competitions, and the total number of gold medals ranks first in Shaanxi Province. More than 800 students are admitted to Tsinghua University and Peking University. Every year, more than 100 students enter the world from Cambridge University, Cambridge University, Oxford University, Duke University, Cornell University and other top 100 universities in the world.
Xi’an Gaoxin No.1 High School students have repeatedly achieved good results in various national activities such as arts, sports, science and technology. In particular, art clubs have won first and second prizes in the sixth national art exhibition for elementary and middle school students. Since 2018, the school has joined hands with Gaoxin No.2 Middle School, Gaoxin No.1 Fengdong Middle School, Chang’an No.4 Middle School, Huyi No.4 Middle School, and West Feiyi Secondary School has established a “famous school +” education consortium to coordinate the management of education and teaching activities, which has significantly improved the school’s ability and level of education in teaching reform, education management, and student quality education.
