Introduction to Nanchang No. 2 High School
Nanchang No.2 High School (南昌二中, website), formerly Xinyuan Middle School, was founded in 1901. It is one of the National Top 100 Middle Schools, the National Harmonious and Civilized School, the National Advanced School Logistics Management Unit, the National Advanced School of Safety Education and Management, the National Advanced Campus Culture and Ideology and Morality Construction Unit, the National Civilization Post, Jiangxi People’s Top Ten Brand Schools, Jiangxi Provincial education system advanced group; China Education Society Mathematics, Physics Olympiad and English teaching and research training base; Jiangxi Provincial Key Middle School Association Vice-President School, National School Logistics Management Academic Committee Executive Council School, national well-known key middle school experimental middle school consortium member school.
The school adheres to the principle of cultivating people first, moral education first, and comprehensively implements quality education. The quality of education and teaching continues to rise, with a large area of successive years of high school entrance examinations and college entrance examinations. 80% of international education graduates have entered the top 100 universities in the world for further study. In 2006, Nanchang No.2 High School was relocated to Honggutan New District; in 2007, the “China-Canada Double Diploma High School Class” was established; in 2011, junior high school classes were opened in Honggutan New District; in 2012, the “fourth middle school” and “22nd middle school” were merged. The school has ordinary high school, international high school, junior high school, Honggutan Luyin Road campus, Donghu Supu Road old campus, Honggutan Yayuan Road (formerly 22 Middle School) campus, East Lake Aiguo Road campus. There are 140 teaching classes with 8,949 students, including 4,626 high school students and 4,323 junior high school students.
