Nanyang Institute of Technology (南阳理工学院, website) is a full-time public general undergraduate college located in the historical and cultural city of Nanyang, Henan. The predecessor was Nanyang University, approved by the Henan Provincial Government. In January 1993, the State Education Commission approved the establishment of the school, which was named Nanyang Institute of Technology.
