Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College (湖南大众传媒职业技术学院) is a public media vocational college established on July 2000, based on the former Hunan Bank School and Hunan Education TV Station, in accordance with the “front office and backyard” model. In 2002, the former Changsha County Teachers’ Training School was incorporated; in 2004, the former Hunan Radio and Television School was incorporated as a whole. The college implements a management system co-established by the Hunan Provincial Education Department, Hunan Provincial Radio and Television Bureau, and Hunan Radio and Television Station. The management system under the supervision of the Hunan Provincial Education Department is now the first batch of national key vocational colleges and the first batch of outstanding vocational colleges in Hunan Province. The construction unit, the Hanban National “International Chinese Language and Culture Communication Base”, Hunan Radio and TV Program Production Base, is known as the cradle of the “Broadcasting and Television Xiang Army”.
Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College is committed to training creative technical talents with high comprehensive quality and strong communication and communication skills for the construction of a culturally strong province in Hunan and the development of the media industry.
