Anhui Vocational College of Grain Engineering (安徽粮食工程职业学院), formerly known as Hefei Grain School of Anhui Province, was founded in 1964 and is now affiliated to the Grain and Material Reserve Bureau of Anhui Province. In 2002, it was renamed as Anhui Economic and Technical School, and in 2004 it merged with the former Anhui Grain Cadre School. In May 2007, the provincial government approved the establishment of the Anhui Commercial Engineering Technician College, which focuses on the cultivation of highly skilled personnel. In March 2012, the Anhui Provincial People’s Government formally approved the establishment of the Anhui Vocational College of Food Engineering, thus entering the ranks of higher vocational colleges. The college covers an area of 340 acres, with a planned total construction area of 169,000 square meters, and currently has a construction area of more than 140,000 square meters.

The college is located in the Higher Education Base of Hefei. It currently has more than 5,000 students and more than 200 faculty members. Since its inception, the college has trained and delivered more than 30,000 professionals at all levels for social and economic development.

Anhui Vocational College of Grain Engineering has formed a relatively complete vocational skills education system and practical teaching facilities.
