Introduction to Anhui Business and Technology College
Anhui Zhongao Institute of Technology (安徽中澳科技职业学院, website) is a public institution of higher learning affiliated to the Department of Science and Technology of Anhui Province.
In 1998, Zhang Ping, the executive deputy governor of Anhui Province, led a government delegation to visit Australia, and signed a scientific and technological cooperation agreement with the Western Australian Government in Perth. College (TAFE) jointly established Anhui China-Australia Continuing Education Institute. In 2000, it started to recruit students for general higher education as a specialized teaching site of Anhui University. In June 2003, the Anhui Zhongao Institute of Technology was established on the basis of Anhui Science and Technology Training Center (founded in 1984) and Anhui Provincial Computing Center (founded in 1979) with the approval of the Anhui Provincial People’s Government for the record. In December 2010, the college successfully passed the evaluation of talent training organized by the Education Department of Anhui Province.
Anhui Zhongao Institute of Technology is located in the downtown area of Hefei (312 Luxi Road, Luyang District, Hefei City), on the bank of the Four Mile River at the intersection of the West First Ring Road and the North First Ring Road. The college has advanced teaching equipment and complete living and sports facilities. There are 5 teaching departments including the Department of Information Engineering and Art Design, the Department of International Business, the Department of Management, the Basic Department, and the Department of Ideology and Political Affairs; it has electronic information, culture and arts, transportation, finance and commerce, civil engineering, tourism, education and sports There are 30 majors in 7 professional groups, of which 7 majors including business English, flight attendant, tourism management, e-commerce, software technology, network technology, advertising design and production are provincial-level specialty. There are more than 3,600 full-time students, more than 210 faculty and staff, more than 40 senior titles, nearly 80% of graduate students, more than 30% of dual-teacher teachers, and 3-5 foreign teachers who teach all year round.
Anhui Zhongao Institute of Technology is the first vocational college in Anhui province to launch Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools. Cooperated with the Central Government Polytechnic Institute of Western Australia, North Brisbane Institute of Technology, University of South Australia, Hanry University of Korea, Orion College of the United States, etc., and provided students to Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan , Canada, New Zealand, Singapore and other countries have opened convenient channels, with hundreds of students studying abroad.
Anhui Zhongao Institute of Technology also actively expands social service work. It has IELTS, J.TEST test sites, Documentary Credit Certificate Qualification Test (CDCS), Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), and TOEIC (TOEIC) test sites, the Ministry of Commerce’s National International Business English Test Site, the National International Business Documentary Certification Test Site, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology National Information Application Ability Test Site (NCAE), and the National Computer Application Technology authorized by the Ministry of Education Test Center Certificate test sites (NIT), Ruijie Certified Network Engineer (RCNA) test sites, and hotel management, marketing, logistics, and human resources test sites authorized by the China Enterprise Federation, and e-commerce test sites authorized by the China Business Association. At the same time, it is also a training base for science and technology commissioners of the Ministry of Science and Technology, a Spark training base, a training base for English teachers in higher vocational colleges of the Provincial Education Department, and a continuing education base for professional and technical personnel of the Provincial Personnel Department.
