Introduction to Business Institute Anhui University of Finance and Economics
The Business Institute Anhui University of Finance and Economics (安徽财经大学商学院, website) is an independent college of finance and economics that focuses on economics, management, and interdisciplinary studies in the fields of literature, art, and science. The college has a 17-year history of running a school, and obtained a bachelor’s degree granting right in 2012. In 2010, he was awarded the title of “Anhui Advanced Independent College”. In 2015 and 2016, he was ranked 4th in China’s High-level Independent Colleges in the “Wushulian China Independent College Evaluation List.” The quality is ranked in the top 5.
In June 2003, the Anhui Provincial Department of Education and the Provincial Development Planning Commission approved the establishment of the Business Institute Anhui University of Finance and Economics. In January 2004, it was approved as an independent college by the Ministry of Education. In May 2004, the school was renamed to become the Business School of Anhui University of Finance and Economics, and adopted the “School High School” model. In September 2015, in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education Order No. 26, Anhui University of Finance and Economics and Xiangxing (Fujian) Luggage and Bag Group Co., Ltd. co-organized and invested by Xiangxing Group to build a new campus. The new campus will be put into use in 2017 and the formal enrollment will begin. 2020 In July of this year, the new campus was fully implemented. During the transition period of the college, the management mode of “old methods for old students, new methods for new students” was implemented.
The college currently has two independent campuses. The old campus is located at 255 Hongye Road, Bengshan District, Bengbu City, and the new campus is located at 7100 Donghai Avenue, Yuhui District, Bengbu City. It plans to occupy an area of 1,000 acres and will be constructed in two phases. The first-phase project covers an area of 651 acres, with a construction area of 167,000 square meters, of which the total area of teaching and administrative buildings is 84,000 square meters. At present, the total value of teaching and scientific research equipment in the new campus is 21 million yuan, 545,000 copies of paper books, and 38 types of digital resources are available.
The college has 7 teaching departments including accounting, finance and auditing, economics and finance, business administration, international business, humanities and arts and basic teaching, and has the right to host 24 undergraduate majors. There are currently 304 full-time teachers, of which 230 have their own teachers, including 42 professors and 98 associate professors. The number of teachers with technical titles of associate senior level or above accounted for 46.1%; 210 teachers with master’s degree or above, accounting for 69.1%. There are currently 5,408 students in the school, including 768 on the old campus and 4,640 on the new campus. Since its establishment, 12,311 graduates have been sent to the society.
Business Institute Anhui University of Finance and Economics Since 2010, a total of 83 provincial quality engineering projects have been established, including 1 major provincial teaching reform research project, 4 provincial specialty brand majors, 3 provincial professional comprehensive reform pilots, 3 Provincial Excellent Talents Training Plan, 7 Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards, 3 Provincial Teaching Masters, 8 Provincial Excellent Courses, 31 Provincial Teaching Research Projects, etc., Published more than 60 papers of various types of teaching research . A total of 65 scientific research projects above the provincial level, including 7 National Social Science Fund projects, 2 National Natural Science Fund projects, 3 Humanities and Social Sciences projects of the Ministry of Education, 42 Anhui Humanities and Social Sciences research projects, 11 natural sciences Scientific research projects, published more than 270 scientific research papers.
In the course of running a school, the college always adheres to market demand-oriented, closely focuses on the training of application-oriented talents, continuously innovates the training model of talents, adheres to the connotative development path, and adopts rigorous education, attention to quality, outstanding features, and multiple measures. We will simultaneously improve the quality assurance system for talent cultivation, strengthen the cultivation of students’ innovative spirit and practical ability, and continuously improve the comprehensive quality of students and the quality of talent cultivation. In the past three years, college students have won more than 200 provincial or higher awards in various professional competitions at all levels, including three international awards and more than 80 national awards. The employment quality of graduates has maintained a relatively high level in recent years. The average annual employment rate exceeds 90%, the correlation between employment positions and majors exceeds 90%, and employment satisfaction is as high as 95%. The college’s social recognition and school running reputation have been greatly improved. It has improved the quality of college students and the registration rate of freshmen. For the 8th consecutive year since 2012, the score line of Chinese language submission at independent colleges in Anhui Province ranked first. In the past 3 years, the average registration rate of freshmen has reached 95%.
