Guangxi Vocational College of Safety Engineering (广西安全工程职业技术学院) is a public full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in March 2017. , Construction and management, business guidance of the Education Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is the third vocational college of security in the country.
The college is located in Nanning Education Park, with convenient transportation and obvious location advantages. The college covers an area of 1,057 acres, with a planned total construction area of 287,000 square meters and an investment of 968 million yuan. The college has a team of teachers with rich teaching experience, including 47 people with titles of sub-high and above, and has hired 19 experts and professors from universities in the region and abroad who have high reputation in the professional field as visiting professors and subject leaders. The college has 6 majors including safety technology and management, construction engineering technology (engineering quality and safety direction), information security and management, engineering measurement technology, mechatronics technology, and accounting.It has a safety engineering training room and building materials training. 39 training places such as laboratories, geotechnical training rooms, etc., and will continue to increase the construction of internship bases and training places to create good conditions for students’ practical activities.
The college’s service positioning is “based on Guangxi, facing the whole country, and radiating ASEAN”. The People’s Government of the Autonomous Region and the State Administration of Work Safety have signed a provincial-ministerial co-construction agreement to jointly build a China-ASEAN production safety training base in the college; so far, the college has limited cooperation with Guangxi Construction Engineering Group, Xinfa Group, and Guangxi Investment Group.
