Guangxi College for Preschool Education (广西幼儿师范高等专科学校) has three campuses: Nanning Campus, Pingguo Campus, and Wuming Campus, covering a total area of more than 1,900 acres and a total construction area of about 152,400 square meters. The school currently has 12,113 full-time students, 2,258 adult education students, and more than 80 years of intensive preschool education. The predecessor of Guangxi College for Preschool Education was the Guangxi Kindergarten Normal School of Guilin Branch of Beiping Xiangshan Ci Kindergarten founded by Zhang Xuemen, a well-known early childhood educator in China, which created a precedent for full-time teacher education in Guangxi. Since then, the school has relocated several times and changed its name several times. In 2009, it was upgraded to Guangxi Kindergarten Teachers College.
