Introduction to Guangxi University of Science and Technology
Guangxi University of Science and Technology (广西科技大学, website) is located in Liuzhou, a national historic and cultural city and an industrial town, transportation hub, and trade and logistics center in the southwest. The school was approved by the Ministry of Education on April 18, 2013. It was merged and established by the former Guangxi Institute of Technology and the former Liuzhou Medical College. Art, education and other 9 universities, directly under the general colleges and universities managed by the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The university currently has three campuses, Donghuan, Liushi and Liudong, covering an area of nearly 4,000 acres. There are 16 secondary colleges, 1 faculty, 19 research institutes (centers), 2 directly affiliated hospitals, 81 specialties; there are more than 1,800 faculty and staff, and more than 29,000 full-time students.

Guangxi University of Science and Technology has two undergraduate programs in cooperation with Southern Cross University of Australia and Lumbia University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom, with a total of 681 students; 517 students studying in China (including advanced students).
