Qinghai Vocational College of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine (青海畜牧兽医职业技术学院) is located in Luyuan County, Xining City, at the foot of the Sun and Moon at the western end of the eastern agricultural zone of Qinghai Province, and upstream of the Lushui River in Xining City. The college was founded in September 1940. It was originally called the National Qinghai Junior Practical Vocational School. The school was originally located in Tao Naihai, Guide County, Qinghai, and moved to Wuyuan County in 1947.
