Bowen College of Management Guilin University of Technology (桂林理工大学博文管理学院, website) was established in April 2002. It is a full-time general undergraduate university established by a new mechanism and independently established with the approval of the Ministry of Education. The school currently has two campuses, Guilin and Nanning. Guilin Campus is located in Yanshan Education Park, covering an area of more than 700 acres, with a planned total construction area of 480,000 square meters. It has a modern teaching building, advanced functions of laboratories and training rooms; a well-equipped dormitory building, a cafeteria, and a stadium, with an elegant environment and convenient living. The Nanning campus is located in the Guangxi Asean Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of more than 1,000 acres, with a planned total construction area of 500,000 square meters. It is expected to be initially completed in 2019.
Relying on Guilin University of Technology’s high-quality education resources, the college focuses on the disciplines of civil engineering, geology, economics and trade, and forms a disciplinary system focusing on engineering and coordinating the development of multiple disciplines such as management, economics, literature, art, and science. There are currently 37 undergraduate programs. It has 1 characteristic specialty of Guangxi universities, 1 specialty of transformation pilots, 5 major construction majors of private universities in Guangxi, 1 demonstration specialty of innovation and entrepreneurship education reform at the autonomous region level, 1 innovation and entrepreneurship teaching team, and 1 collaborative education platform.
