Jiangxi Provincial Youth League School was founded in June 1952. In the early days of its establishment, the school site was located in the middle of Dieshan Road (now Nanchang Power Supply Bureau). Three college general undergraduate classes were held in 1960, 1961, and 1965 (the first student was transferred from the suspension of the original Ruijin University, and the latter two students were recruited from the current high school graduates who participated in the ordinary college entrance examination). After the “Cultural Revolution” ceased operation, in 1979 Jiangxi Provincial Youth League School resumed running and moved to its current site (No. 1458, Zhimin Avenue, Economic Development Zone, Nanchang City). From the fall of 1984, the Jiangxi Provincial Youth League School successively cooperated with Jiangxi Agricultural University, Jiangxi Administration Cadre College, and Jiangxi Education College to jointly organize adult college education in the direction of the League’s Ganmao Lei major. In the fall of 1991, Jiangxi Provincial Youth League School started general secondary education. From 2001 to 2003, the Jiangxi Provincial Youth League School and Jiangxi Normal University jointly organized general college education. In 2004, with the approval of the provincial government, the Jiangxi Youth Vocational College was established on the basis of the Jiangxi Provincial Youth League School and began to independently organize general college education. Since 2011, independent college education for adults has been held. In 2012, the Jiangxi Youth Technical School was established with the approval of the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security. Beginning in June 2016, the school and Nanchang Aviation University jointly trained a public service management major as the third batch of Jiangxi Provincial Undergraduate Colleges and Higher Vocational Colleges to jointly cultivate applied technology-based undergraduate pilot projects.
Jiangxi Youth Vocational College has a team of teachers with high teaching level, strong professional skills and reasonable structure.
