Jiangxi Modern Polytechnic College (江西现代职业技术学院) is a public full-time higher vocational college subordinated to the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Jiangxi Province and approved by the People’s Government of Jiangxi Province and filed by the Ministry of Education. The college is a national backbone vocational college and a project construction unit of high-level vocational colleges in Jiangxi Province.
Jiangxi Modern Polytechnic College was founded in 1978. It was formerly known as Jiangxi Provincial Building Materials Industry School. In April 2002, it was upgraded to an ordinary higher school and renamed as “Jiangxi Modern Vocational and Technical College”. The school construction project passed the acceptance at the “Excellent” level in 2013; in 2014, it became the first batch of pilot units for jointly training applied undergraduate talents in higher vocational colleges in Jiangxi Province; in 2017, the China Science Evaluation Research Center released the “2017-2018 China High “The vocational college competitiveness ranking”, the college ranked 46th in the country, Jiangxi first; in 2018, it was selected as one of the 10 high-level higher vocational colleges in Jiangxi Province.
