Yuzhang Normal University (豫章师范学院, website) was formerly the Provincial Women’s Teachers College established in 1908 and the Provincial First Normal School in 1914. It has a history of running schools for 111 years. In May 2017, the foundation of Nanchang Teachers College was upgraded to Yuzhang Teachers College with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
