Changzhou University is located in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, a famous historical and cultural city with a prosperous economy and rich culture. It is a provincial full-time undergraduate jointly established by the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province and China National Petroleum Corporation, China Petrochemical Corporation and China National Offshore Oil Corporation. Institutions.The school was founded in 1978. It was formerly known as the Wuxi Branch of Nanjing Institute of Chemical Technology and the Changzhou Branch. Approved by the State Council in 1981, the school was named Jiangsu Institute of Chemical Technology; in 1992, it became a subsidiary of China Petrochemical Corporation, and was renamed Jiangsu Petrochemical Institute; in 2002, it was renamed Jiangsu Institute of Technology; in 2010, it was renamed Changzhou University.
