Introduction to Guangdong University of Finance

Guangdong University of Finance (website) is a provincial public undergraduate university and the only financial university in South China. Founded in 1950 by the People’s Bank of China, the school is an institution with “central bank genes”. In 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was upgraded from “specialist” to “undergraduate” and enrolled the first batch of undergraduate students; in 2012, the first batch of postgraduate students in finance was recruited; in 2012, the first batch of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students were recruited; In the year, we recruited the first batch of international students; in 2016, we cooperated with the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom to jointly recruit doctoral students.

Recruitment Notice

English teachers and Spanish teachers
1. Job description: Full-time foreign teachers of spoken English and Spanish for undergraduate English majors and non-majors.
2. Work Time: September, 2018—July, 2019
3. Workload:12 teaching hours per week (one teaching hour equals 45 minutes)
4. Courses to be offered:Oral English, English Public Speaking, English writing, American Culture, Spanish

Salary and benefits:
1. Starting salary as established by school authorities;
2. Housing: free housing on campus;
3. Medical insurance as established by school authorities.

Teacher’s Requirements:
1. Native Speaker;
2. Master or above;
3. Two-year language teaching experience (not required for applicants who hold a Master degree (or above) of education, language or teaching, home country teaching certificate, and international language teaching certificate).
