International Exchange
Until now, UPC has established partnerships with nearly 160 universities, colleges and institutions from over 30 countries and regions such as the United States, Canada, Australia, Russia, France, Germany, etc. Activities and programs on academic exchange, scientific research collaboration, teachers visit and joint education have been carried out. UPC has 5 National “111 Project” Bases. Every year, the university hosts over 20 international academic conferences or seminars, invites or attracts over 500 overseas well-known experts or scholars to give lectures or make research collaboration. More than 500 faculty and staff members were sent to study abroad and make academic exchanges. English Teacher Job Notice
Job Description:
1. English teachers from Britain, America, Australia, New Zealand or Canada
2. 28-55 years old.
3. Bachelor’s degree or above. Master’s degree preferred.
4. At least 2 years of English teaching experience, or holding a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate.
5. Teach English courses, around 10-20 classes per week.
6. Courses include Oral English; Business English; British and American English
Salary and Benefits:
1. Monthly Salary (RMB): 7,000–12,000 RMB, higher salary given to experienced teachers with PhD degrees and Master’s degree in Education.
2. Air Tickets Offer: 10,000–12,000 RMB (one year contract period)
3. Travel allowance (RMB): 2200 RMB (one year contract period)

“The best part of our university is the location. Qingdao is a coastal city and our campus is right by the seaside, so the air is fairly good. Near the campus there are many Chinese restaurants, supermarkets; shopping malls are within walking distance where you can find everything you need in a reasonable price. There is a KFC on campus, it is for you every now and then if you crave fried chicken; otherwise our canteens serve very nice Chinese dishes. Our campus is about 50 mins drive from the airport. The Liuting International Airport in Qingdao is a traffic hub in Northern China and connects internationally to Japan, US, UK, Australia, Germany etc.”
